Bankruptcy Counseling and Education

Pre-filing Session: CCCS provides confidential, one-on-one, pre-filing bankruptcy counseling. Counseling is provided either in person or by telephone. Forms and information are available on-line. CCCS charges a counseling fee of $35 for an individual and $50 for a couple, if counseled together. I understand that if my household meets low-income guidelines, the fee will be waived and the agency will provide services, regardless of my ability to pay. An appointment can be made by contacting either the Salina or Wichita office.

For your convenience, an on-line budget information form is available. The on-line form allows you to enter your budget information online and forward the completed form to our office. Our office will then contact you to set up an appointment time. Please print a copy of the completed on-line form for your records.

Pre-discharge Class: CCCS offers Personal Financial Management Instructional Courses at its Salina and Wichita, Kansas locations. CCCS charges an instruction fee of $25.00 for an individual and $35 for a couple, if they attend together.
