Housing Counseling Services
As a certified HUD housing counseling agency, we offer free counseling for consumers seeking to purchase a home and to consumers who are past due on their rent or mortgage payment.
Delinquent Mortgage or Rent Counseling
CCCS offers free counseling to consumers whose rent or mortgage is delinquent. Our counselors can help consumers, who are concerned about their delinquent housing, review the current situation, identify problems, and discuss options to resolve the situation.

Reverse Mortgage Counseling
CCCS also offers Home Equity Conversion Mortgage (HECM) or Reverse Mortgage counseling. *As of October 1st, 2011* CCCS will no longer provide this service free of charge. At this time there are no fees for the Reverse Mortgage Counseling. NCOA has a booklet available “Use Your Home to Stay at Home” that helps to explain what a reverse mortgage is and how it works. The booklet is offered at no cost. Please feel free to call to inquire about any questions you may have or to schedule an appointment.

Independent Foreclosure Review
If your primary residence was involved in a foreclosure process between January 1, 2009 and December 31, 2010, you may qualify for a free Independent Foreclosure Review.
The Independent Foreclosure Review will determine whether individual borrowers suffered financial injury and should receive compensation or other remedy because of errors or other problems during their home foreclosure process.
